About this project
Sahaya solves a trust problem specific to fundraising in Sri Lanka: donors want to see that money raised actually reaches the person it's for. Every campaign is verified before it goes live, funds are held and released in stages against proof of spend, and a running ledger — platform fee, payment processing cost, amount released, amount still held — is visible on every campaign page, not hidden in a dashboard only the campaigner can see.
The interface works in Sinhala, Tamil, and English. Payment gateway integration is the one piece still pending before it can go live publicly.
